On a disappointing note...
I binged today. Dammit all. I was bored, hot, feeling ugly. So I took the easy way out..instead of coping, I smothered my feelings with carb. Dammit.
On a catty note...
I idolize women who are strong, bright and self assured and making a difference in this crazed world.
Women like this:
Sonia Ghandi. Politician, India.
And this:
They give me hope. They make me proud.
These women do not....
Desperate, aging ungracefully and a tad skank.

From this month's vogue. It's Madonna. Feeding chickens. On her English estate. Says she loves England, it is her home now. But of course. Is she wearing pearls??
Whatever. She will always be Madonna, from Detriot to me.
But since I choose to focus on real women, I'll leave with this:

don't beat yourself up over carbs. pick up and move on. everyday is another chance to be the best you can be. or at least a chance to try a new coping mechanism. sometimes those old ones just win over new.
as time goes by, it'll happen less and less.
